How To Evaluate The Artificial Intelligence(AI)?

Abstract: Recently, AlphaGo has been in the top trending searches, because of its competition with Kejie, list of world number one. Behind the AlphaGo, it is the artificial intelligence (AI). How to evaluate it?

AlphaGo's algorithm uses a Monte Carlo tree search to find its moves based on knowledge previously "learned" by machine learning, specifically by an artificial neural network (a deep learning method) by extensive training, both from human and computer play. In March 2016, it beat Lee Sedol in a five-game match, the first time a computer Go program has beaten a 9-dan professional without handicaps. In May, 2017, it beat Kejie, list of world number one.




People's opinions vary toward AI. Some believe the AI has made many people jobless. Some welcome it as it greatly improves efficiency. From my point of view, we should embrace AI to enable the public enjoy the technological advancement and to enjoy a free intelligent life, like Airwheel does.
